Colour and nourish your hair naturally with organic henna and indigo! Henna and indigo are herbal dyes that colour the hair naturally and are a safe alternative to chemical hair dyes. Both our henna and indigo powders are 100% organic with no preservatives or harmful chemicals like PPD.

Henna and indigo provide rich, permanent hair colour and also have numerous other benefits such as promoting hair growth, repairing and adding shine to dry/damaged hair, adding volume to thin hair, and improving the scalp condition.

 If your hair is already chemically dyed, you can still use henna and indigo hair colour!

THE KIT INCLUDES:

• Organic Jamila henna powder
• Organic indigo powder
• 2 pairs of vinyl gloves
• 2 shower caps

PRODUCT DETAILS

This kit contains henna and indigo powders for two-day application which will dye the hair in black tones. The powders needs to be mixed with water to make the hair colour paste. On the first day you will apply a mixture of henna & indigo paste to dye your hair brown. The next day you will apply only indigo paste to dye your hair black.  The amount of henna and indigo powder you need depends on your hair length and thickness.

WEIGHT

The kit is available in four sizes:

• Short hair (ear length): 300 g. It contains 1 packet of henna (100 g) and 2 packets of indigo (200 g).
• Medium hair (shoulder length): 400 g. It contains 1 packet of henna (100 g) and 3 packets of indigo (300 g)
• Long hair (below shoulders): 700 g. It contains 2 packets of henna (200 g) and 5 packets of indigo (500 g)
• Very long hair (waist length): 800 g. It contains 2 packets of henna (200 g) and 6 packets of indigo (600 g).

Please select the kit according to the length of your hair. Please note, for very thick or curly hair you may need to select a bigger size.

DIRECTIONS

1. Prepare henna paste and leave overnight (8-12 hours) for dye release.

2. Next morning, prepare indigo paste and add it to the henna paste. Add more water to the paste and mix well until the consistency is like beaten yogurt. The paste is now ready to use.

3. Apply paste to clean, dry hair in sections to achieve even application.

4. Cover hair with shower cap and leave the paste on for 4 hours.

5. Rinse hair thoroughly with water and hair conditioner only.

6. Next day, prepare indigo paste and repeat steps 3 to 5. Do not use shampoo for 48 hours.

STORAGE

Henna and indigo powders must be stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and light. Once opened, please keep the remaining powder in a tightly sealed bag and use within six to eight months.
