Our organic jagua henna (hengua) cones for body art/temporary tattoos give a beautiful dark brown to black stain on the skin and are 100% natural and chemical free!
What is jagua henna (also known as hengua)? Jagua is a fruit that grows in South America. The juice from this fruit stains the skin bluish-black. When it is mixed with henna, the mixture yields a dark brown to black stain whereas regular henna stains reddish brown.
What is the difference between jagua henna and jagua gel? Jagua henna is a mix of henna and jagua juice whereas jagua gel does not contain any henna. Jagua gel yields a dark blue to black stain whereas jagua henna yields a dark brown to black stain. Jagua henna is opaque and has a creamy/stringy consistency like henna, whereas jagua gel is translucent and has a hair gel like consistency.
INGREDIENTS
Our jagua henna paste is made with a blend of USDA certified organic Rajasthani henna powder, organic jagua juice, EU certified organic Bulgarian lavender essential oil, vegan sugar, and lemon juice. We only use lavender essential oil as this is the safest kind of essential oil for children, pregnant women, and sensitive skin.

Each cone weighs 15 g.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Each cone contains enough henna paste to make 4 to 6 simple/medium designs. The tip diameter is 0.53 mm, which is good for creating details and bold designs. The henna paste has a stringy consistency and yields a dark brown to black stain with proper aftercare.
STAIN PROGRESSION
Natural jagua henna stain darkens over time. When the jagua henna paste is removed after 8 hours, the stain is greenish brown. With the right aftercare, over the next 24 to 48 hours the stain becomes dark brown to black (see picture).
DIRECTIONS
1. Thaw cone for 30 minutes before use.
2. Apply henna paste to skin and dry it completely. Do not move while the henna dries as this will cause the dry paste to flake off.
3. Apply sugar sealant mixture (and let it dry completely) OR apply Mefix tape to keep the paste stuck on skin. Keep the paste on for at least 6 hours or 8-12 hours for best results.
4. Scrape the paste off using a spoon. DO NOT wash it off. Apply coconut oil or aftercare balm.
5. Avoid contact with water for the next 24 hours.

STORAGE
Since there are no preservatives added, the cones must be stored in the freezer and can be frozen for up to 6 months. Please thaw the cone for 30 minutes before use. The leftover cone can be frozen again up to 3 times without hindering its staining potential.

Jagua henna paste starts deteriorating after a few days if it is not frozen. This is why we only ship jagua henna cones to Canada via express shipping. Please freeze the cones immediately upon receiving your order. Curbside pickup is available from Scarborough, ON, Canada. For US customers, we do not recommend purchasing the cones due to long transit time and custom delays.

Has such an amazing stain and it’s darker than the regular cone. If you want a very dark stain (this one looks almost black), then you have to buy this cone!!
